Old town or “K o t a L am a S e m a r a n g”, a Dutch colonial heritage in Central Java, I n d o n e s i a, is rich historical heritages including some ancient buildings with ancient-colonially architecture design that are really interisting. Suprapto street area as the downtown as well as the main structure of K o t a L a m a has a lot of ancient buildings with interisting structures and facades that create a specifically historic character and a serial vision of the area.

The Dutch architectural has been a landmark for S e m a r a n g City and even for province scope, Central Java. The most interesting building in this area is Gereja Blenduk (blenduk mean is “dome” like shown by its roof) or Church of Blenduk.

Architecturally, Church of Blenduk is very different with some local churches in Indonesia, especially for its roof, tower and four big scale columns in terrace. In the Dutch colonial age, Church of Blenduk has an important role as a center district and public spaces with an open space beside. (the infinity space)
